College Attended: Fort Hays State University
Hobbies/Interests: I love to swim! I enjoy watching college basketball, trying out new recipes, reading, decorating my home, and spending time with my family and friends.
Other Grades Taught/Other Jobs: I did my student teaching in first grade. I taught 3rd grade for two years and the remainder of my teaching experience has been at second grade. .
Favorites
Movie: You've Got Mail
Book: I love to read James Patterson books. I have too many favorite children’s books to count them all! Kevin Henkes and Marc Brown are two of my favorite children’s authors.
Subject to Teach/Learn About: I enjoy all subjects. If I had to choose I guess it would be math and science. I love watching the children’s expressions as they discover new ideas during our science experiments! I think my favorite time of the school day is story time. It’s wonderful to share a story that I truly love!
Food/Restaurant: One of my favorite meals is homemade chicken and noodles. I still love anything that my mom makes because she’s an awesome cook! I enjoy going to The Cheesecake Factory in Kansas City, and of course I have to end my meal with their decadent lemon raspberry cheesecake!
University Sports Team: KU basketball-Go Hawks!!!
