Throughout the year students are given the opportunity to take A.R. tests. These tests cover books they have read asking comprehensive questions. Each book has a set number of points available. If the student passes the A.R. test they receive those points. Student in grades 1-3, who reach 100 points, and students in grades 4-6 who receive 200 points receive a medal and get their names engraved on a plaque located in the school library.
